Despite the show taking a different path with it (which is perfectly fine, if you want a biblically accurate Devil then read the Bible), I absolutely love the way Lucifer gets extremely pissed when someone insults or mocks God in his presence. Despite being cast out of the Heavens, he is still proud of being His son (and Pride is his whole character) and doesn't accept that anyone insults Him. And the way he delivers *"Don't give me credit for all that! You humans do plenty all on your own!"* makes me laugh everytime. Tom Ellis was the perfect casting choice for this series.
